At the age of four, he began learning piano from his sister Ludwika, and at six, he started taking lessons from Żywny. By the time he was seven, he had composed a Polonaise in G minor. In 1818, a Warsaw magazine published its first article about Chopin, mentioning that a seven-year-old prodigy had composed a Polonaise.

Then, on February 24, 1818, he gave his first public concert at the Radziwiłł Palace, which is now the Presidential Palace.

４才の時には、姉のルドヴィカにピアノを習い始め、６才の時にはジブニーのレッスンを受け始め、７才にはト短調のポロネーズを作曲し、1818年，ワルシャワの雑誌に，7歳の神童がポロネーズを作曲したと，はじめてショパンの記事が載ります。

そして、1818年2月24日、初めての公開コンサートをラジヴィウ宮殿で行いました。
