当教室の生徒さん6人とベヒシュタインのピアノについて知るイベントに参加しました。
ベヒシュタインのグランドピアノとアップライトピアノの構造の説明をクイズを交えながら楽しみました。
その後、すべてのピアノの試弾が許され、生徒さんのみなさんと夢中になって試弾させて頂きました。
ピアノの音色、音質に大変惹かれました。まず、とても弾きやすいです。そして、音質は穏やかなのにどの音も聞こえ、音が木の音がするかの様に心地よく、和声もよく響き合うので、迫力を作る事も、繊細なピアニッシモで歌う事も、自在に許されるかのようで、表現力をもっともっと磨いて弾きたくなるピアノでした。
生徒さんには、バッハのインベンションをお願いして、３つのホフマンのピアノの音の違いを近くで確かめさせてもらいました。そんな時に、さらりとインベンション4番を弾いて下さった事に感激しています。
大学生の生徒さんも、小学生の生徒さんもみなさん積極的にピアノを弾いて、それぞれ楽器の違いを確かめていました。暑い中、ご一緒して下さったお母様方にも大変感謝しております。
これを機会に、素晴らしいピアノで演奏する事を増やしていきたいと思いました。
12月にはこの日比谷ベヒシュタインのホールでのコンサートを鑑賞し、その前にみんなでベヒシュタインのピアノで演奏する楽しさを知る機会にスタジオを借りてレッスンしたいと思います。
無限の音楽性との出会いを楽しみにできるピアノ教室として、前進してゆきたいです。

An Enchanting Encounter with Bechstein Pianos
Today, six of my students and I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a special event to learn about Bechstein pianos. We had a great time enjoying a lecture with quiz about the structure of Bechstein grand and upright pianos.
After the session, we were all allowed to play the pianos, and my students and I were completely absorbed in trying them out. I was truly captivated by the tone and sound quality of the pianos. They were incredibly easy to play. The sound was so gentle, yet every note was clear and beautifully audible. It was as if the piano’s sound was made of wood, creating a warm and pleasant tone. The chords resonated beautifully, allowing me to effortlessly create powerful sounds or express myself with delicate pianissimos. It’s a piano that inspires you to refine your expressive skills even further.
I asked my students to play Bach’s Inventions so we could closely compare the sound differences among the three pianos. I was especially touched when one student smoothly played Invention No. 4. It was wonderful to see all the students, from elementary schoolers to university students, enthusiastically playing and exploring the unique qualities of each instrument. I am also very grateful to the mothers who accompanied us on such a hot day.
This event has inspired me to create more opportunities for my students to play on such magnificent pianos. In December, we plan to attend a concert at the Bechstein Hall in Hibiya. Before that, I want to rent a studio so that everyone can have a chance to play on a Bechstein piano and experience the joy of making music with it.
As a piano school, I am excited to move forward, looking forward to future encounters with infinite musicality.
