At Sonare Piano Lessons, our method allows students to feel a sense of progress, enabling them to start studying Burgmüller and Sonatinas by their second year. Our 55-minute, 43-lesson-per-year curriculum is designed to prepare students for music university while fostering a lifelong enjoyment of music.
We cultivate perfect pitch and musical ability to the point where 90% of our students develop perfect pitch and are capable of playing by ear. Our practical lessons focus on improving technical skills and nurturing the joy of playing. Many of our students receive S evaluations in PTNA Step competitions.
Even during periods that require consistent practice, we avoid making students feel like they are being forced. Instead, we encourage voluntary practice through enjoyable songs and carefully chosen pieces that suit each student. Lessons are conducted with the beautiful resonance of a grand piano, where students engage with rhythm, harmony training, solfege, aural skills, and technique, all while developing solid sight-reading and performance skills.
We also organize optional events and opportunities for students to connect with fellow music enthusiasts, supporting motivation through various creative means. Our personalized and warm teaching style has earned us a reputation for helping music become a lifelong companion for our students.

Beginner Level
■ 43 lessons per year, 55 minutes each … Monthly fee: 13,000 yen
Intermediate Level
■ 43 lessons per year, 55 minutes each … Monthly fee: 15,000 yen and up
Starting from Sonatinas and Inventions
Advanced Level (60–90 minutes)
■ 1 lesson per month … Monthly fee: 6,000 yen
■ 2 lessons per month … Monthly fee: 10,000 yen
■ 3 lessons per month … Monthly fee: 14,000 yen
■ 4 lessons per month … Monthly fee: 17,000 yen
Supplementary subject exam preparation: 5,000 yen per lesson (1.5-hour lesson including piano performance, ear training, and sight-singing)
Main subject exam preparation: 7,000 yen per lesson
Lesson Duration
For beginners, lesson time ranges from 30 to 55 minutes depending on the student’s condition and practice content, while intermediate students have 55-minute lessons. Most students, even pre-school children, take the full 55-minute lesson. Short breaks are incorporated, and the five essential activities are completed efficiently before students lose focus, helping to maintain their concentration.
Number of Lessons per Year
Next month’s schedule will be updated on the member site at the end of each month, so please check it. Monthly tuition is to be paid by the 1st of each month (or the first business day) via bank transfer or electronic payment.
Holidays and Sundays are generally off.
Make-up lessons are limited to once per month.

※副科受験指導は1回5000円(１時間半レッスン、ピアノ演奏、聴音、視唱指導含む)

レッスン時間は生徒のコンディション、練習内容などにより初級は30分から55分、中級は55分になります。
しっかりレッスンされる方が多く、未就学児でもほとんどの生徒さんが55分のレッスン時間でレッスンを受けています。短時間を小さな休憩で区切り5つの必須アクティビティを飽きる前にテンポよく進めて集中力を維持しています。

月末に次月のスケジュールを会員用サイトにて更新いたしますので、ご確認ください。お月謝は毎月1日（第１営業日）に振込、または電子マネーでお願い致します。
祝日・日曜日は基本的にお休みです。

Studio Policies
1. In the case of school events or illness, one make-up lesson per month is allowed. If a lesson is canceled due to the instructor’s circumstances, a refund or a make-up lesson will be provided.
2. Make-up lessons for reasons other than school events or illness are generally not permitted. If a student is late, the lesson cannot be extended. In the music industry and music universities, it is customary to ring the doorbell exactly at the lesson time and enter directly.
3. If additional lessons are needed for PTNA participation, the fee is 5,000 yen per lesson. Each additional lesson will last for 1.5 hours.
4. Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of each month and can be paid via bank transfer, PayPay, or LINE Pay. Please note that if payment is not received by the first lesson of the month, the lesson will be canceled and will not qualify for a make-up.
5. There may be additional costs such as for materials, recital fees, and rehearsal studio fees. These fees are to be paid at the same time as the monthly tuition.
6. In case of any damage to the instruments or equipment in the studio, full compensation will be required.
7. Please notify us two months in advance if you plan to withdraw from lessons. For withdrawal starting in April, please notify us by February 1st. Except in unavoidable cases, if you suddenly withdraw, you will still be required to pay tuition for the following two months.
8. If disruptive behavior that interferes with lessons continues, you may be asked to withdraw from the studio. In such cases, tuition for the following two months will still be required.
教室規約
①学校行事、病気での欠席の場合、月に1度まで振替レッスンを行います。講師都合の休講の場合には、レッスン該当分の返金または、振替レッスンをさせて頂いております。
②学校行事、病気での欠席以外の理由での振替レッスンは基本的お断りしております。遅刻された時のレッスン延長はできません。レッスン時間丁度に呼び鈴を鳴らし、そのまま入室するのが音楽大学、音楽業界の習わしになっております。
③ピティナ参加の際に追加レッスンが必要な場合には1回5000円となります。時間は1時間半となります。
④お月謝は毎月1日に銀行振込み、PayPay、LINEpayなどで頂いております。その月初回のレッスンまでにご入金がない場合にはレッスンがキャンセルとなり振替対象外となりますので、ご留意下さい。
⑤教材費、発表会費、リハーサルスタジオ代などお月謝以外の費用が発生する事があります。お月謝お振込みのタイミングにお振込み頂いております。
⑥教室内の楽器、設備など破損された場合には全額補償頂きます。
⑦退会は2ヶ月前にお知らせ下さい。4月から退会される場合には2月1日までにお知らせ下さい。やむを得ない場合を除いて、突然の退会の場合にもその後2ヶ月のお月謝のお支払いを頂きます。
⑧ レッスンの進行の妨害など、著しい迷惑行為が続いた時にはご退会頂きます。その場合にもその後2ヶ月のお月謝が発生致します。
